I realized my younger daughter had lice, it had spread to me and my elder daughter also. We tried to remove lice by counter products and combing for hours and hours. But realized the next day that we were not successful. Then we called Licenders - only wish we removed it completely sooner. Ask any parent that used Licenders services for a home visit. I can't say enough good things about this Company. If you have the unfortunate experience of lice coming into your family and home, this is the only place to turn to. They are professionals, efficient and thorough, and such a pleasure to work with in a not-so-pleasant time. We had several different salon specialists comb us out; Gia, Karen, Rita, and Barbara, each fantastic. They were so patient and caring with my 1,3,and 5 year old, as well as my own long, thick, head of hair. We visited the Salon, and then we had several follow up visits in our home, for the convenience since I had the 3 children to accommodate. They were tidy in my home and the convenience was well worth it. This is the best and only place to go, and the all natural products even smell nice.

We got the call from our daughter's school in the late afternoon... They found lice on the day before her birthday! I called the folks at Licenders and they fit us in that night-- staying long after closing time to be sure Ada was taken care of BEFORE her birthday. They were all so lovely, kind and extremely competent-- to be honest it felt more like visiting a favorite aunt's beauty parlour than a lice treatment place. Went to the upper east side location after unpleasantly discovering that my daughter had lice. Rose was there to help, she kept my 4 year old calm and behaving well for the long time we needed to be treated.
